I know it's not winter yet.  And that those of you who live in areas where that term actually means something have every right to not rush the season.  Trust me, having previously spent 40 years in a Northern clime - I get it!  So, while the calendar, and the temperature actually say fall, these colors made me think of cool winter tones.

I normally gravitate toward dark colors, especially in the winter, especially in a climate where your clothing gets soiled from brushing against filthy salt and sand stained cars, as well as slushy, dirty streets.  But there's something cool and peaceful about these colors, and there's a (careful) place for them in a cooler weather palette also.

Tip:  Carry. Shout. Wipes.  Just saying.

  1. I love this outfit! I'm always drawn to lighter colors and I wear them year-round.

    1. I just started getting attracted by lighter colors, but it took me a while to find some clothing items in those tones (I didn't have anything!). Now, I'm a fan, too!
