OUTFIT: Black on black summer chic

Summer often feels like the time to indulge in bright colors, even neon.  And that's a lot of fun, but sometimes a change can be nice.  This outfit was inspired by my favorite outfit blogger, Kendi (here's some example posts of a classic, simple look from her), more in spirit than actual details.  I must say I wouldn't have thought of pairing the black skirt with the  black top together, but it turned out classic, comfortable, and chic, always a plus in the summer warmth!  Think of all the opportunities this may open up in your closet.  Give it a try and let me know how it went!

Outfit is almost entirely thrifted, but I found similar, well-priced items you can buy.
